custom framing
Blowing Rock Frameworks & Gallery has been providing custom framing to the High Country since May 1st 1994. We strive to enhance every piece brought into our custom frame shop. We offer over 2500 different frames— from the extremely simple to the very ornate. We do everything from basic framing, finished corner frames, floater frames, and everything in between. Customize your frame even further with our 500 plus fillet options. Interested in a fabric liner? You’re in luck! Since we’ve been in business, we have hand wrapped our fabric liners to ensure the best quality while offering over 800 styles to choose from. And with over 750 mats of all colors and designs, from standard acid free paper to hand-wrapped silks and suede, we have the perfect embellishment to make your piece pop. Want to take it a step further? We offer custom ink lettering for all our paper mats. Looking for something more elegant and embellished? We’re trained in the centuries old technique of French Matting and French Lines which elevate and enhance any matted piece of art.
We do it all here. We’ve framed everything from original works by Picasso and Chagall to kindergarten art. Have some piece of 3D memorabilia you want displayed? No problem. We even tackle large projects like antique bow and arrows, lockets, pins, etc. You have it? We can preserve it!
